We chose the block of land because it is perfectly situated next to the Purling Brook Falls and there are 2 cafes within 50m of the residence. We designed the house to provide a luxurious and memorable accommodation experience. The house has 2 self-contained levels, BUT ONLY THE UPPER LEVEL IS AVAILABLE ON THIS WEBSITE, both with decks and sunny spots to enjoy the views and birdlife in this beautiful world heritage area. You will have the whole property to yourself as we close off the lower apartment.
The upper level has a stylish kitchen, 2 large bedrooms; one with a king size bed and the other with two king single beds, 2 bathrooms, lounge and separate media room. This level is high in the trees with full height windows to make full use of the astounding views and birdlife. At the front of the house there is a fire-pit and built in seating area for relaxing with a glass of wine.
There is a 2 car covered space and the block is fully secure with lockable gates and security lighting. The upstairs area is wheelchair friendly with ramp access. The house snuggles into the treed block with extensive use of hardwood as exterior and interior cladding. The interior is also designed to reflect the natural environment with wood panelling, full wool carpets and rugs and all lounge suites are full leather. There are several heaters for the cold months and upstairs has a cosy wood fire. Luxury is the key; beds are king-sized with quality linen (with electric blankets), all rooms are large with fans and they all have ensuites or are adjacent to the main bathroom. Kitchens have stone benches (upstairs has a dishwasher) and of course are fully equipped with a coffee machine, microwave and the appliances are gas. Hot water is on-demand. Each level has a large curved screen TV with (upstairs)free movies, FOX and more. There is free wifi and blue-tooth speakers for music. There is a BBQ.
Springbrook is a unique area that is set on a plateau created by the Mt Warning shield volcano explosions which occurred 22 million years ago. Subsequent erosion has created towering rhyolite cliffs over 100m high of which the Purling Brook Falls exemplifies. The plateau is surrounded by Unesco World Heritage listed national parks within which there are a number of waterfalls, pools and extensive and well maintained walking tracks. These range from easy to quite demanding. The forests in the area stand on fertile red soil which supports dense stands of subtropical rainforest which shows great biodiversity with the higher peaks supporting the northernmost stands of Antarctic beech. ‘Springbrook 25’ UPPER APARTMENT is designed to provide a luxurious escape from the pressures of modern life and it is ideal for couples or small families.
We now are happy to host for guests with house trained dogs who do not sleep on beds. Please contact us to discuss this should you wish to bring your pet as we will leave out a dog kit.
We have a very comprehensive cleaning regime and we have a 2 day minimum booking.
Checkin is simple with a combination safe in the carport with keys.
Generally guests do not have access to the laundry as we use this as a storeroom. However for longer stays we are happy to open this.
