Rathdowney Alpaca Farm is situated six kilometres from nature's unspoiled Mt. Barney National Park within the picturesque Scenic Rim of South East Queensland, only a 90 minutes drive from the Brisbane Central Business District. You will be charmed by this fascinating South American Camelid as you learn about their breeding and habits, touch and feel their supersoft fleece, and browse in "The Alpaca Shack", where you have the opportunity to marvel at a wide range of products, handcrafted garments, giftware and accessories on display. You may wish to wander through the manicured cottage gardens of the 100 year old Queenslander farmhouse, or simply breathe in the fresh country air while you enjoy a 'bring your own' morning tea in the pretty, shaded picnic area. A new addition is the authentic slab hut to remind you of yesteryear. A good old-fashioned country welcome awaits you when you visit Rathdowney Alpaca Farm .
