In Currumbin Valley's award winning Eco Village, you'll find this very unique property, featuring 5 traditionally designed Yurts (the first green Yurts built in Australia) cleverly inter-connected by outdoor walkways & verandahs, overlooking views of the surrounding hills and adjoining farmland.
We are just 10 minutes drive to beautiful iconic beaches, local cafes and restaurants and just 15 minutes from Gold Coast International Airport. The space This Yurt features a large central living room surrounded by 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. There is a wardrobe space to hang your clothes and a basket of blankets to help you get cosy on our antique couch and matching chairs. A flat screen TV is available for streaming access to Netflix. We have a gas heater for those chiller nights in winter and plenty of windows for capturing the refreshing breeze. A rustic kitchenette has been installed and is the perfect to make small meals, tea and coffee. An outside table and chairs, perfect space for catching up over a meal. There is a small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery & cutlery available.
Hidden underneath this Yurt is a magnificent piece of raw Rose Quartz which is perhaps best known for being the stone of unconditional love. It’s believed by some to emit a strong vibration of not only love but joy, emotional healing, confidence and creativity
Guests have access to the entire yurt. This is a private space and will not be shared with other folks at the property.
Guests are welcome to wander around the space as each Yurt is uniquely built using sustainable and recycled timber, with high ceilings and character rich French doors leading out to the central garden. From the recycled Blackbutt parquetry flooring, ventilation through the complex cupola ceiling designs, hand built cabinetry and quirky fixtures and fittings, the attention to detail in the craftsmanship is to be admired and we'd love to share this with you.
Hundreds of native animals exist within the Eco Village due to the pro-wildlife ethos and strategies in place, to enhance the native flora and fauna in the area. In support of this, the Eco Village has a dark sky policy in place to lessen the impacts of light pollution particularly for our nocturnal animals. Our Yurts and the neighbourhood comply with the dark sky policy, which means all outside lights are shielded and internal lighting is low. In return, you can immerse yourself in the stunning night star views, whilst caring for the wellbeing of our animals.
