Picture yourself strolling along the beach at sunrise, grabbing your favourite coffee at a local beachside cafe, shopping at Pacific Fair, taking the kids to a world famous theme park, swimming and surfing at one of our glorious beaches, or just lazing in the sun on a banana lounge in the backyard, then at the end of a magnificent day, treating yourself to a delicious dinner at one of the many local surf clubs or restaurants in Broadbeach or Nobby Beach. There are so many amazing experiences to be had in this location!
On the other hand, if you're just looking for a quiet sea change, or to escape the Victorian winter, this is your perfect destination. Settle into a movie in the main house, whilst the kids play board games and space invaders or watch TV in the detached bungalow. With the beach only 200 metres away or a 2 minute walk, you can relax to the sound of the sea and the feeling of warm sand between your toes.
The Love Shack Mermaid, is ideal for families of 4 or 6 with 1 queen bed and 2 singles in the main house and a queen sofa bed in the bungalow. It has 2 showers, 1 toilet, 2 living areas, a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances and laundry, parking for 3 cars, a sunny outside dining area and a big backyard. If you’re not driving, transport to the north and south is easy as the main Surfside bus line is right outside your door. Your stops to and from the airport are just metres from the house.
You will find an abundance of coffee shops and restaurants close by, and a Spar supermarket across the road for late night movie treats! You will also be walking distance to the famous Bam Bam Bakehouse https://www.bambambakehouse.com, a short drive to Black Hops Brewery and Granddad jack's Gin Distillery, and a number of surf clubs. If you would like to bring one small fury friend, there are conditions so please have a chat with us first. We do ask that, due to wear and tear on furniture and wooden floors, and sandy paws, that your dog camps outside. We hope you understand.
The Love Shack Mermaid is a beachside treasure, that has everything you need from toiletries to towels, boogie boards to bikes. Just bring your suitcase! We can’t wait to see you soon!
