Summary:
Watch the sunset from your own rooftop, linger over dinner with everyone at the table, then settle into the private spa as the city lights come on. Billie sleeps up to 10 guests in a 4-bedroom, 2-storey Main Beach penthouse, with the beach across the road. A member of our team meets you on arrival with the keys.
The Space:
Time together
The dining table is made for the meals you finally have time for on holiday. Lunch that stretches into the afternoon, or dinner with everyone together beneath the white, petal-shaped pendant. There are 10 seats, and after dark the city lights show through the glass.
The kitchen and lounge share the same open floor, so whoever is cooking stays part of the conversation. Breakfast can happen at the long island while the rest of the house takes its time over coffee. Later, the rounded armchairs and sofa are there for an afternoon indoors, with glass doors opening onto the balcony.
The lower balcony looks towards the ocean between neighbouring buildings. It gives you somewhere to take your coffee outside or step away with a book, while the main living room stays close by.
Upstairs, a separate lounge lets some settle into a film while others linger downstairs. That extra living room matters when you are travelling together for more than a night: you can keep each other company without having to share every plan.
Your own rooftop
On the roof, the spa is yours alone, enclosed in glass beneath a louvred roof. Back from the beach, you can head upstairs for a soak with the skyline beyond the glass, staying awhile as afternoon gives way to evening.
The adjoining terrace is open to the sky. There is a barbecue and an outdoor table for lunch, with loungers for reading or doing very little at all. Stay for sunset with a drink, then watch the surrounding towers light up.
The outlook takes in the city, with the ocean visible between neighbouring buildings.
At the end of the day
The downstairs bedrooms carry Billie's warmer colours, starting with the master's dusty terracotta pink walls. Upstairs, the fourth bedroom has its own sitting area and kitchenette, with the ocean beyond the windows. The armchairs by the windows make this somewhere to spend a quiet morning before joining everyone downstairs.
Each sleeping space has sheer curtains and blockouts, so you can wake with the morning light or draw the curtains and take your time getting up.
Sleeping arrangements
Billie has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, sleeping up to 10 guests:
- Master bedroom, downstairs: a king bed and its own ensuite.
- Second bedroom, downstairs: a queen bed.
- Bunk bedroom, downstairs: 2 sets of bunks, with 4 single beds.
- Fourth bedroom, upstairs: a fold-down queen bed. The bed, armchairs and kitchenette share the same room.
Bathrooms: the master ensuite and the second bathroom have showers; the upstairs bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.
The beach and Main Beach
The beach is across the road, so a walk along the water can be part of the day without getting in the car. You can head down for time on the sand and come back upstairs for lunch, then leave the afternoon open.
For coffee or dinner out, Tedder Avenue has cafes and restaurants. Main Beach sits between Surfers Paradise and The Spit, with a broad stretch of sand for long walks.
Guest Access:
The whole penthouse is yours, including its balconies, private rooftop spa and open terrace. Your stay includes 2 car spaces.
Shared building facilities
Beyond the penthouse, you have access to the building's heated pool, communal spa, sauna and full-size tennis court, along with the barbecue area in the landscaped gardens. A swim or a game of tennis can be part of the day without leaving the grounds.
These facilities are shared with other residents and guests.
The Neighborhood:
Main Beach sits between Surfers Paradise and The Spit, with the beach across the road from the building. Tedder Avenue has cafes and restaurants for coffee or dinner out. Sea World and the Marina Mirage shopping centre are along Seaworld Drive, towards The Spit.
Getting Around:
With 2 car spaces, a car is the easiest way to explore further along the coast. The G:link light rail stops on the Gold Coast Highway at Tedder Avenue, with trams south to Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach and north to Southport. A taxi or rideshare covers an evening out.
Other Things to Note:
The upstairs fourth bedroom, second lounge, spa and terrace are reached by internal stairs. The master bedroom and bunk room both open onto a balcony.
Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating are provided. You also have a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Bed linen and towels are supplied.
